Position in Athens
Term: A full-time position for three years, with the possibility of renewal.
Responsibilities:
The Digital Media Assistant will work closely with the Digital Media Manager / Webmaster and the Director of Communications in preparing, generating and disseminating content promoting the work of the American School of Classical Studies around the globe.
The Digital Media Assistant will organize livestreaming productions of events that take place in the School’s auditorium, Cotsen Hall, and in the School’s media studio. This work involves preparing equipment and conducting professional filming and photography of lectures, conferences and other events that take place at the American School as well as preparing footage for the School’s video archive. In addition, the Digital Media Assistant will assist in maintaining the website, creating digital exhibition microsites, and producing content for Social Media. The work will require a flexible schedule and ability to travel.
Fluency in English and Modern Greek is expected.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social and Digital Media and/or Filming
- Proven skills in photography and videography
- Demonstrable experience in livestreaming and live event production, including use of vMix, OBS or Wirecast
- Proven skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, Final Cut Pro
- Skill in content production for Social Media
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills
- Flexible working schedule and some traveling
