The Center for Hellenic Studies (CHS) offers residential postdoctoral fellowship opportunities for the 2023-24 academic year. The CHS funds both academic year fellowships (September 1, 2023 — May 24, 2024) and semester fellowships during either the Fall (September 1, 2023 — December 22, 2023) or the Spring (February 2, 2024 – May 24, 2024). Applicants should indicate their preference on the application form.

All fellowship awards include:

• financial support ($20,000/semester in residence);
• housing at the CHS in Washington, DC;
• subsidized health insurance; 
• travel support
• appointment as a Harvard affiliate for one year, beginning in July 2023, providing access to the resources of the Harvard library system.
